1:5 TC Championship 2007 - Kirchberg/Austria

Around 120 participants headed to Kirchberg/Austria to take part at the 1:5 TC Championship 2007.

Temperatures of 40° C and more demanded almost everything of drivers and engines. At the start were models of Bergonzoni, Contrast, FG, HARM, RS5, Lauterbacher, Genius, Dynamic and some self-made constructions. Approximately half of the participants took part with an FG Competition EVO.

Right from the beginning it was visible that the EVOs with the GRP tires ran very well and constantly. After the pre-runs 6 EVOs were among the first 10 places. So the first sensation was already perfect, 9 FG Competition in the final at the end, nothing more to say!

During the final Markus Feldmann led the field from the start and was able to gain a controlled start-finish victory. A little more thrilling was the fight for the 2nd place between the drivers Arnaldi, Lissau and Martin Bayer. With Arnaldi weakening the FG drivers Lissau and Bayer secured themselves a safe place 2 and 3. Therefore at last the podium was occupied by FG drivers. Remarkable were also places 6 and 9 of the young EVO drivers Guido Ruster and Max Körner.
