| This World Championship 2003 was also dominated by FG drivers, just the same as in Ettlingen two years ago, despite the fact that only a small amount of all FG drivers took part at this competition. Over 100 participants, works as well as world-class drivers from all countries lined up to win this WC title. Right from the beginning of the training and qualifying you could realize who could be considered for the front ranks. |

| Three from four directly qualified drivers were then FG drivers, H. Roskam, L. Collari and H. Schiks. The following FG drivers were qualified over both semifinals: J. Schummer, F. Killam and O. Sampietro. Finally six FG drivers, three Lauterbacher and one Harm driver took part at the final. H. Roskam fetched the WC title in a top-class final over 60 minutes. After a successful defence of the F1 EC title it was FG again to show the extra class of the Touring Cars, too. FG sets the benchmarks in all classes. |
